Strangely, as big as the game was, now that I have finished it and played it many times it seems straightforward and even short.
I guess one can't get too much Submachine XD

Weird question suddenly came to my mind.
If Player went outside of lighthouse, could he just escape in the beginning of sub4 while walking on the roof? I think he could just come down from the roof and run away from this nightmare. Or did he know that if he wouldn't complete his mission and just escape, Murtaugh will kill him?

I don't think he could really escape through the rooftop. The sky may be also fake, in Sub10 we see the Void instead. Even if it isn't fake, the player would have needed a ladder or something to escape, not?

Maybe it was absorbed by submachine into the void? Anyway, I think Murtaugh wouldn't allow the player to escape easily. There is a trick somewhere...
