The plastic shell is a christmas ornament I found at Target last year. It reminded me of a wisdom gem.
Then I put a string of micro LED lights inside of it through the hole at the top.

Quickly, to the Escape Pod!

At some point, someone somewhere suggested that a thread open up to serve as "inspiration" for future subnet updates. So this thread will be sorta like the "Awesome Pictures" thread in General, but it's geared specifically toward pictures that remind us of Submachine. It also can be used to submit pictures that we feel we would like to see being referenced in the series' future.
When you submit, it would be great if you had any additional thoughts about the images to leave a line of text or two explaining what made you think to include the image (if it's not obvious), but don't feel pressured to add any text at all! However, if there is any real-world information on the image (who created it, where it was taken, etc.) please include that stuff.
Examples:
Heaven's Gate, Bali
Stock photo
Interior of the Church “Maria Rosenkranz-Königin” (1948-51) in Stockstadt, Germany, by Hans Schädel
