The cubes organize themselves to form a massive barrier, withstanding the bombardment for long enough for the karamic grid to restabalize and adapt, strengthening the wall further. But after a while, even this fails to hold back the seemingly never-ending barrage. As destruction again seems imminent, the second phase of the stabilization protocol reveals itself. The karamic energy suddenly begins to warp the surrounding space, and wraps the complex in a loop that absorbs anything that approaches.

Even now, the missiles continue to bombard, but are all swallowed before they can detonate. In the complex, a button on the spatial manipulation interface is pressed.

From the outside, it soon becomes apparent this button was labeled "return to sender".
