Submachine: The Loop 2?
Re: The more I think of it...
Alternatively, Mateusz could do Submachine: Infinite Loop like the other side games, but similar to Sub 3. I mean, that you would be in an area of the Loop with various stuff in it (from people who were there before, but are now...gone...) with a puzzle to solve. You can be in that area (or "sector") until you solve the puzzle, thereby being transported to the next sector, ad infinitum ad nauseaum.
Example situation:
Begin Submachine: Infinite Loop.
Entered Sector 1.
The Sector is a 4x4 area. Going past the boundaries is the infinity of the rest of the Loop - Now evolved and further mind-breaking and difficult to traverse.
Obtainable items are in the Sector(s). There is an inventory. Collect what you can, use em to solve the puzzles, the way to the next Sector is unlocked a la Sub 3. The inventory stays with you until the end - or if Mat makes the spin-offs its own series starting from here, the inventory can carry-over.
Rinse and repeat until the end. How it ends, and whatever "plot" is in the game, is up to Mateusz.
Thoughts?

No, I'm not joking about the loop 2, but I was naturally kidding about the title. loop harder?.. come on.
but, submachine: infinite loop has a nice ring to it.
you know what has even nicer ring?
SUBMACHINE: INFINITE

also: hear me out:
you know how in subnet there are small loops - rooms that don't look the same, but are looping?
there is even a random loop where you don;t know what room will come next.
I was thinking on expanding on that idea.
different locations, ALL LOOPING.

I like that title even more. Simple and powerfulMateuszSkutnik wrote:No, I'm not joking about the loop 2, but I was naturally kidding about the title. loop harder?.. come on.

wow that must be hard to code, right?MateuszSkutnik wrote:also: hear me out:

Re: The more I think of it...
well I've done it in the subnet, so how hard can it be.

HEY! I believe I have suggested a Loop version of the Submachine Universe with always new puzzles to solve!
Just smile and wave boys. Smile and wave...

I loooove this idea, I would pay good money for that.

O_O
This is interesting.
But after Sub 10, you say?
Guess it'll be another year or two before we see the face of it
How did this idea come to you?
