Re: RANDOMNESS
Had to weigh in on the anime debate.
I watch a chosen few anime for story and the beauty of the environment. Now that Berty has painstakingly pointed out the frame rates, I'm seeing it a lot more clearly. It really isn't an issue for me, though, because that is not what I'm watching for. I'm into Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli style anime, and a select few series like Xam'd, RahXephon, Eureka Seven, Eden of the East, Stiens;Gate and Neon Genesis Evangelion. I find these all to be engaging, beautiful, and mysterious shows, and that is what I'm looking for. I don't want the dog food shows, easy to digest and uniform in flavor (I don't know about the easy to digest thing about dog food, it just popped out of my mind and I ran with it XD). These are all uniques to me. Though they may be repetitions on certain themes, but it is an acceptable repetition and there is a quality of story telling that draws me in deeply. Frame rates are never even a consideration.
Had to throw that out XD

Re: RANDOMNESS
I don't really think you should worry about repetition of themes, that happens in literally all media all the time
Your reign is ever growing
Spreading like a moss
across rock, under sky, over roots and the thorns
your reach is ever growing, spreading like a moss

Re: RANDOMNESS
I approve.Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli style anime
I have heard of half of those.Xam'd, RahXephon, Eureka Seven, Eden of the East, Stiens;Gate and Neon Genesis Evangelion
I respect the ones i know.
Re: RANDOMNESS
RahXephon is the weakest I think, though still beautiful and interesting. Eden of the East is the least fantastic and I actually watched it on my lap top while playing video games on my TV, so that tells you how little the visuals are necessary for the show, but it has a lot of really nice social commentaries. Stiens;Gate I'm currently watching, and Xam'd I'm rewatching and it's AWESOME! XD
